Alway set your air con to recirculate.

This means the system will only have to cool the air inside the cabin and therefore save you cooling the outside air, making the system work harder and ultimately cost you more money in fuel.

Use your air con to de-mist window in the winter months

Give your air con a blast for a few minutes every month during the winter to keep it in good working order

Top Tip #3

Keep your cars air con serviced regularly and do your bit for the environment by ensuring the system is not leaking.

Guidelines suggest every two years for the whole system and more regularly for pollen filters, depending on how much you drive.
